A family of traditional hunters runs the conservancy and employs traditional hunters to carry out wildlife surveys and management in its territory. Since the establishment of the conservancy, M-Sayyod has served many tourists who are into wildlife photography, game watching, trekking, and conservation hunting. As results of conservation work and implementation of sustainable management practices, the number of wildlife is thriving. Communities here to a great extent engage in mountain agriculture. South facing slopes offers the perfect location for orchards and vegetable gardens. Many families practice beekeeping and take pride in their practice. The highlight in M-Sayyod conservancy includes an abundance of wildlife, birds, waterfalls, towering snowy peaks, incredible flower fields (Amaryllis) and breathtaking views into Afghan villages across the river.
